How the dates work
Each button opens Airbnb with a night before and a night after the event, so you arrive the day before and nobody has to check out the morning after a show. Change the dates on Airbnb if you want to stay longer.
For the Carnival parades the button covers the whole week, Friday to Ash Wednesday. Events that run for more than four days, such as exhibitions, have no dates filled in, so you can pick your own. Busy dates can carry a minimum stay, and Airbnb shows it when you choose them. The apartment sleeps two.
Getting there from Vidigal
Most of these events are in the Zona Sul, in Centro and Lapa, or out in Barra. The São Conrado and Antero de Quental metro stations (Line 4) are the closest to Vidigal, and Line 4 trains run straight on into Line 1, so Centro, Lapa and the Sambadrome need no change of train.
